The salinity and seawater in the marine environment can cause corrosion to the equipment, so the equipment needs to have corrosion-resistant characteristics. There are impacts such as waves and tides in the marine environment, and the equipment needs to have shock resistance, able to withstand various impacts and vibrations from the marine environment. ATA medium-voltage(MV) soft starters have strong corrosion resistance and high shock resistance, successfully solving the problems of harsh marine environments. Currently, 6 sets of ATA QB-S03/710 MV soft starters have been used in the offshore mobile trenching machine project, for the starting and operation of axial flow pumps, jet pumps, and suction pumps in the trenching machine equipment. Now the offshore operation has officially begun, and all the equipments are running normally.
